Arduino MIDI Library is compatible with Software Thru for message filtering. Thanks to its help, callbacks can handle input messages easier. Furthermore, the latest received messaged is stored until a new one arrives.
The library can be configured using custom settings based on initial templates. It supports OMNI input reading for all channels and makes it possible to create multiple MIDI ports for programs that handle merging and splitting. Any serial port, hardware or software can be used.
In addition to the source code, the downloaded package includes examples with basic I/O, bench, callbacks, dual merger, input, MIDI USB, simple synth, and RPN NRPN (set the controller number, send plain values or increment/decrement directives). The library software package can be installed with the aid of Arduino's library manager.
