Just keep in mind that .NET Framework has to be installed on the machine, otherwise this won't work. No entries are added to the system registry, though, and no files or folders are created on the disk without your approval.
As far as the interface goes, Find and Delete has a single window that displays all options put at your disposal. You can indicate a folder whose files you want to take into account for the removal operation, as well as filter them by keyword.
This keyword can be the files' whole or partial name. Worth noting is that all files are taken into account, regardless of their extension, size, date of last modification or other attributes. Unfortunately, Find and Delete Serial doesn't implement options for filtering files by any other criteria besides keyword in name.
On top of that, it doesn't load the scanned matches in a preview list to give you the possibility to analyze information and carefully select the items that you want to delete, sparing the critical ones. On task completion, the program shows the total deleted files and found matches.
There weren't any stability issues in our testing, since the app didn't freeze, crash or indicate errors. It scanned folders fast and had low impact on the PC's performance, using low CPU and memory. On the other hand, working with Find and Delete might be dangerous because you might end up accidentally deleting files you need.
