Messages with new feeds pop up on the upper left corner of the screen as soon as they are published on the websites, and VXP RSS Reader triggers sound notifications.
Its interface is user-friendly, represented by a regular window split into tree panels for navigating websites, selecting feeds, and reading content.
A list with predefined websites is immediately loaded at startup, and you can add new ones by entering their URL, remove existing feeds, disable sound alerts, as well as deactivate VXP RSS Reader Serial from automatically running at Windows startup.
The feeds list shows the title, date and description for each new article. Clicking an entry loads the page content on the bottom part of the main frame, so you can read it there. Apart from the fact that you can refresh the list, there are no other notable options provided by this software utility.
