The Metro app can be downloaded and installed from the Store on desktops and mobile devices running Windows 10, 8 and 8.1. It's packed in a clean Modern UI which isn't that intuitive.
Several menus are shown on top for visiting the main panel, share details, graphs and pie charts, looking up shares, as well as customizing options.
To get started, go to "Setup" to populate your portfolio with stock information by specifying the company's symbol and number of shares. The company's name is automatically identified by Simple Portfolio.
In "Setup", it's also possible to select data items in addition stocks if you want to monitor book value per share, change, 1-year target price, day's high and low, dividend yield and pay date, earnings per share, last trade date and time, market cap, and others.
All this information is displayed in the main menu. The "Details" section shows the company's description as well as selected data items (from "Setup"), "Graph" reveals a graphical representation of the share evolution for each company, while "Pie Chart" shows the distribution of your shares to give you an idea of the majority and minority.
