RQ Apache LogViewer is a Windows tool you can use to parse Apache files, giving you the possibility to open, view and analyze contents. It features several practical options as well as support for field highlights.
After launching the application, it's obvious that the software product hasn't received updates for a long time. Nevertheless, we haven't experienced any issues with getting it to run on Windows 10 in our tests (without having to run it in compatibility mode for older Windows versions).

To get started, you can download files from the Apache server, then indicate the path to their location in the Settings menu (upper-left corner or upper-right corner).
Log files compressed in the .tar.gz, .tar, .gz or .zip format will be automatically unpacked by the tool and displayed on the bottom-right side of the window. Any files double-clicked from this area will be loaded in the main table of RQ Apache LogViewer. It's also possible to filter all files available in a selected directory by any of these extensions.
Once the log information is loaded into the main window, you can view the IP address, date and time, request, code, bytes, referrer and user-agent. Right-click a field to add it to the filter of included or excluded items.
In Settings -> Filter, you can tick the Adwords box if you want to view adword URLs in the referrer column. Also, you can go to Settings -> Internet and enter two web links for running Whois commands and locating IP addresses.
Unfortunately, the tool's not very intuitive and its interface could use some improvements. It also hasn't been updated for a long time and doesn't seem to be in development anymore. Nevertheless, you can test RQ Apache LogViewer Serial for yourself if you're interested in viewing Apache log files.
