You can start a new project by selecting a model, whether we're talking about an empty project, wizard, update installation, Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic, Delphi, executable file, read-only installation, minimum interaction, secure or silent installation.
Every aspect of the installation package can be altered by you, starting with general settings, graphical user interface, containing documents and folders, file details, fonts, the summary, and external MSI or MSM packages.
Further customization is possible for the registry keys and values that will be added once the respective program is installed, associations with file extensions, file attributes (hidden, system, read-only, archive, normal), links, minimum hardware and software requirements, software prerequisites, serial codes, languages, output media (e.g. CD/DVD, web page), and package notes.
Additionally, CyberInstaller Suite Serial can be asked to check the current pages for errors that could compromise the installation process, find all dependencies of a source project, as well as attach various references to the current package: ActiveX Data Objects, Data Access Objects, Crystal Reports, Active Reports, Borland Database Engine, Microsoft Data Engine, and Microsoft SQLServer Express. The project can be saved to file and later resumed.
The application suite requires a decent amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, since it didn't freeze, crash or show errors.
All in all, CyberInstaller Suite comes loaded with powerful and useful tools for putting together software installation packages. However, you should keep in mind that some features are only available in the upgraded version.
