In order to calculate the location and the corresponding prayer times, Azan Times uses Google Maps, GBA-source.com and praytime.info.
Once the location is configured, Azan Times Serial displays all the five prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha), together with the sunrise and the sunset time. When the clock reaches one of the prayer times, the application automatically rings the Athan, which is the traditional call-to-prayer.
The application only provides support for the calculation method offered by the Jafari school of thought and there is no other alternative there. Besides setting the geographical position, there are no other options to choose from.
Despite the lack of features and options, Azan Times is a simple sidebar gadget that can help Muslims remember the traditional prayer times no matter their location.
