As far as the interface is concerned, M Secure Lock adopts a clean window with a neatly organized structure, where you can add files and folders to the task list, in order to lock and unlock them with just a couple of clicks. Hiding them from Windows Explorer is optional.
It's also possible to lock drives, whether we're talking about local, network or removable drives. Command Prompt is locked by default, but it can be unlocked. You can also lock the Windows registry to block access to inexperienced users and prevent possible OS stability problems.
Furthermore, you can perform searches, integrate the utility into the file explorer context menu, ask it to autorun every time you boot the computer, and to show tips on startup. The password can be changed anytime, and the app can get minimized to the systray to become non-intrusive and let you carry on with your normal PC activity.

We haven't come across any difficulties in our tests, since it didn't hang, crash or show error messages. CPU and RAM consumption was minimal, so it didn't hamper system performance.
