This is the portable edition of Digital Clock, a very basic application that displays the current time and date on the desktop.
It does not comprise complicated options or configuration parameters, making it accessible to all types of users, even the ones with little or no previous experience in computer software.

Since there is no installation involved, you can drop the executable file anywhere on the hard disk and just click it to run.
There is also the possibility to save Digital Clock to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no prior installers.
What's more, the app does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, leaving no traces on the disk after removal.
The interface is represented by a small and transparent window with a black background, where the current time, date and day are displayed in white. It is possible to select one of the three themes available: blue, green and red. There are no other notable options provided by this software utility.
Digital Clock runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM, so its impact on computer performance is minimal. We have not come across any problems in our tests, since the tool did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
On the other hand, the tool does not implement options for making the frame stay on top of other windows, or for minimizing it to the system tray area. Nevertheless, Digital Clock serves its purpose.
