The interface is not exactly breathtaking, keeping everything simple. Several educational activities are available which require little effort for completion. Before beginning a game or activity, an info screen displays instructions.
Available activities range from different association games, which stimulate memory, to a few fun games. Amongst them, you manage to find Pong, which can also be played in 2 players, or a PAC-man like game that requires you to “eat” letters in the right order to complete a word.
However, interest is quickly lost, because activities become repetitive and there are no features that motivate you to go on. There is no integrated reward system, reaching the end of a session only displaying a screen that informs you of this accomplishment.
Moreover, you always seem to win because of the lack of any timer, warnings, or conditions that allow this to happen. A useful feature is a report, but can only be viewed for each activity, with no possibility to issue a general one.
All in all, X-Childspaly wants to offer your offspring a suitable environment to practice memory and stimulate imagination. However, the overall poor design leaves a little something to be desired, only managing to be an activity that helps you pass the time.
