Before anything else, you need to make sure the MOBI files are stored in the right location, as the program cannot open them otherwise. They should all be saved in the User/Dictionaries folder, a directory which you may need to create yourself.

Once the dictionaries have been copied, you can launch the application and select the file you wish to access from the drop-down list. The words will be displayed in the left-hand panel, while the descriptions can be viewed on the right.

The name of the selected dictionary is displayed in the title bar, and you can use the simple search function to find the words you are looking for quickly.

The definitions can be displayed using any of the fonts installed on your system, and you can also change the text size. However, the words can only be viewed in the default font.

Mobidict Serial offers you the option of providing your device’s serial number in order to use your own dictionaries, but this feature did not seem to work during our tests. You can try it out yourself, but it will likely be fully implemented in a future release.
