The currency exchange rate converter is ideally used when preparing to travel to a foreign country that has a different money unit than yours.
Because it provides accurate exchange rate readings, it needs access to a valid Internet connection in order to download the latest currency values. It loads a huge table with all currencies at startup, which are sorted in alphabetical order.
Now Currency concentrates on converting Euro to another currency. It has a simple-to-use calculator for this purpose, which can be used from the bottom part of the screen. You just have to enter the Euro value, click a currency from the table, and find out how much it's worth.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have a calculator for converting any kind of currency. The table information is organized into equally-sized tiles, where you can find out the currency description and acronym, whether it increased or decreased compared to the last known value, as well as discover the converted value from the amount of Euro you specified in the calculator. Data is updated in real time.
Although there is a search function integrated for quickly finding a particular currency by the country's description or acronym, it's necessary to perform search on blank space just to be able to return to the main table with all currencies. There is no button implemented for going back.
Besides the fact that you can take a snapshot of the table and share the picture using an external Modern UI app, there are no other options provided by the developer. It doesn't show the country flags.
But the biggest disadvantage of the tool is that it doesn't have features for performing conversion jobs between any currencies you prefer. Also, the online source of the exchange rates is unclear, although Now Currency Serial seems to be accurate.
