This is a special app optimized for desktops, notebooks, tablets and laptops running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. It can be downloaded from the Windows Store and blended with the Start Screen or Menu to launch it like any other Metro app.

Once deployed, Acronym Finder shows a large, empty search box. Type or paste an acronym in this area and click the search button or press the Enter key to find out what it means.
In the list of results, click the Google button next to an entry to look it up online. Unfortunately, the application doesn't show acronym definitions in its window or at least open the developer's website when clicking the Google button.
Instead, it only copies and pastes the result in the Google search engine, displaying a list of results that you have to click to go to the developer's website. There are no other notable options provided by this piece of software.
In this case, Acronym Finder Serial is pretty useless. Users are likely to resort to a search engine by default when looking up acronyms instead of opening an application, unless that app was equipped with an offline database to be able to find definitions even when you're not connected to the Internet. Sadly, that's not the case of this tool, which actually increases the effort of looking up acronyms.
