jWords features a clean and intuitive GUI that enables you to quickly find the meaning of any Latin word. Unfortunately, it is limited to only look for words, so you are not able to translate Latin phrases with it.
jWords Serial is an utility that contains a list of words based on William Whitaker's free Latin to English dictionary program written in Ada. This program contains the most complete Latin lexicon known until present.
To look up for a Latin word is as simple as a breeze, you just need to type the word in the dedicated dialog, then press the 'Search' button to reveal the results of your search. jWords not only displays the English equivalent of a Latin word, but also the German one, which makes it more useful.
From the 'Edit' menu of the application, you can edit or add words into the Latin dictionary database. To do this, you only need to enter the word, it's first, second and third stem, as well as it's German equivalent.
