The interface is intuitive and clean consisting of a single window with the contact's fields on the left side and additional buttons on the right. When launching the utility you are asked for an username and password, which can be found in the TXT file included into the archive. Another downside is the irritating background, which, unfortunately, you can't change to a more pale color.
The process is simple, just fill in the required information, such as full name, nickname, email, address, postcode and phone number. You can quickly browse through your contacts using the navigational arrows. Plus, the login credentials may be changed to custom ones.
It would've been a nice addition, if there were options to change the look of the app, had more fields dedicated to co-workers and customers, profile images and a small editor to write optional comments. There is also no choice to export the database to various file formats for further edit.
Taking everything into account, Girl's Address Book Serial is an average and outdated tool created only for those who wish a small yet practical utility to record personal contacts. Since it's portable, it doesn't generate new entries in the registry nor leaves traces behind its removal.
