The user interface is plain and simple. All you have to do is open a SRT file (the "drag and drop" method is not supported), select the frame rate and initiate the conversion process.
Then you can give a name to the SUB file and set its output destination. The SUB frame rate can be set at a value between 23.976 and 30.
SRT to SUB Converter Serial uses a low amount of system resources and is able to complete a task in a very short amount of time. However, batch conversions are not supported and, in our opinion, this is the biggest disadvantage of the program. Also, it lacks some advanced settings for the conversion process.
Although the software is extremely simple to use, there is no help file available (at least it could had explained frame rates and the difference between SUB and SRT files). We haven't come across any kind of issues during our tests.
SRT to SUB Converter certainly needs some upgrades when it comes to its interface and features but, it gets the job done in a convenient amount of time. Since it is so simple to handle, we recommend this application to all users.
