Several frames are automatically grabbed when the application starts. In fact, you can choose to define a maximum number of frames to grab, and preview them using a slider for manual transition, or automatic playback. Custom frames can be saved to file, either manually or automatically.
Just so you don’t end up filling up too much space, it’s possible to set a maximum size value to allocate to your recordings. This is done in the settings panel, where it’s possible to choose the save location of pictures, compact database, set capture delay, and even secure the database with a password.
There are no edit operations, and screenshots are taken for the entire screen. Unwanted frames can easily be deleted. Individual frames are saved to file, but it’s only possible to save them under the JPG format. Sadly, the program can’t create animations, not even under the GIF format.
