Reflection Effect is an extension dedicated to Paint.net, which gives you the possibility to apply a reflection filter to selected objects within your image, which may also look like a "wet floor" effect.
It contains a few customization settings and can be easily tackled, even by those less experienced with this image processing tool.

There is no installation pack available. All you have to do is download the DLL file and copy it to the "Effects" directory of Paint.net, whether the application is installed or portable.
If it was launched before copying the library, you have to restart it to gain access to Reflection Effect. It can be found in the "Effects" menu and should have a small puzzle piece next to it. This is an indicator for all Paint.net external plugins.
The main panel of the utility has a simple design and layout, showing all options put at your disposal. Before making photo tweaks with this filter, make sure to paste the object in a new and transparent layer to achieve the best results.
When it comes to reflection adjustment settings, you can set the distance and maximum alpha, as well as ask the tool to ignore pixels. This can be done either by moving sliders or by entering the numerical values.
Worth mentioning is that modifications can be previewed in real time, so you don't have to apply them just to be able to verify results and undo the action or delete the newly created layer if you change your mind.
The extension hasn't been updated for a long time and we couldn't get it to work with the most recent Paint.net version. It can still be used with older editions, though. Reflection Effect Serial didn't cause the image editor to hang, crash or indicate errors.
