Input - audio signal
Center Freq - the filter's center or cutoff frequency, either directly in Hz, OR in volts, using SE's 1 volt/octave scale, as selected by the Input Mode parameter.
Bandwidth - the width of the filter's pass band, either directly in octaves, OR using the SE voltage scale, as selected by the Input Mode parameter.
Gain - Used only with the EQ Peak, Low Shelf and High Shelf modes. Controls the amount of boost or cut applied. Range: -30 to +30 dB, OR 0 - 10 volts, as selected by the input mode parameter.
Filter Type - The following filter modes are available:
LP - Low pass filter
HP - High pass filter
BP - Band pass filter
Notch - Notch filter
EQ Peak - Boosts selected frequency band by amount of gain control
Low Shelf - Boosts low frequencies by amount of gain control
High Shelf - Boosts high frequencies by amount of gain control
Custom - Allows direct entry of filter coefficients. For advanced users.
a0, a1, a2, b1, b2 - (for Custom mode only) Coefficients for the biquad filter's difference equation:
y = a0*x[n] + a1*x[n-1] + a2*x[n-2] - b1*[y-1] - b2*[y-2]
Outputs:
Output - the filtered signal
Parameters: (right-click Properties)
Input Mode - Selects between using actual Hz, octave, and dB units for the frequency, bandwidth and gain inputs, or using the standard SE 0 - 10 volt input range for each of these.
Quality - Selects between Economy mode, which saves CPU, and Fast Modulation mode, which allows the center frequency or bandwidth to be modulated at audio frequencies.
