This app is optimized for desktops, tablets, laptops and notebooks running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. Subsequently, it can be downloaded and installed from the Windows Store with one click, thanks to the fact that it's a trusted Microsoft app.
As far as the interface is concerned, Color Slider launches a large window with a white background, which you can switch to full screen mode by arrow button displayed in the upper-right corner.
To adjust the color channels, click the red, green and blue sliders and drag them with your mouse cursor until you obtain the right RGB values. You can view the obtained color in a filled circle, along with its hexadecimal value below it (accompanied by a hash tag).
There are no other features implemented by the developer. However, you can take a screenshot and send it to one of your other installed Metro UI apps, such as Twitter or OneNote.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to type the RGB color codes in their corresponding boxes, although it's possible to select the text. Also, there is no button integrated for copying the resulted hex code. Another useful feature we would've liked is a color picker for selecting any color displayed on the desktop to obtain both its hexadecimal and RGB codes.
All things considered, Color Slider Serial is a rather simplistic tool for getting hex color codes from RGB channels. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself.
