Users should know from the very start that the program is quite simplistic and packs a modest set of features. In fact, this along with its straightforward GUI qualifies it as a suitable solution for novices who want to get their work done as quickly as possible.
As said, there are two types of extractions the application is capable of carrying out, both of them available in the main window. In case you want to collect email addresses from a website, all you need to do is indicate the URL, then click the “Find” button.
Offering no filters whatsoever, the program scans strictly said URL, and a summary is provided once the operation is complete. To be more specific, the number of email addresses is indicated in the main window, and in case you want to explore the results, you need to save them to a text file.
As for how email collection takes place when the source is a text file, things are pretty similar. You just need to specify the directory path using a dedicated button and initiate the scan.
While the program’s behavior is predictable in a good way, there is one aspect that we would be better off. When switching from website to file mode, you need to be careful to manually delete the URL or directory path – depending on case – otherwise, the program prompts you with an error.
Except for that, however, the app performed honorably during our tests. It did find all the email addresses in a short amount of time, and it did not crash, but its lack of features might deter users from giving it a try.
