Following a brief setup operation, TitleBarTime launches a transparent bar on the upper part of the screen, which stays on top of other windows. This option cannot be disabled.
Moreover, the tool gets automatically integrated into the Windows startup sequence after installation, which means that it runs every time you boot your PC to display the current clock and system uptime. However, this can be deactivated from the options panel.
When it comes to other settings, you can change the font color (white, black, red, blue), hide the current time or system uptime, hide the current date, and show a solid background background instead of a transparent one.
To gain access to the text editor, simply click the notepad icon on the right side of TitleBarTime Serial. You can write messages in a sticky note with a yellow background as well as save changes. There is no exporting option available, however.
By the look of the interface with the unpolished graphical elements, it's obvious that TitleBarTime hasn't received updates for a long time. Even so, we didn't have any trouble getting it up and running on the newest Windows edition, without having to use the compatibility troubleshooter.
Unfortunately, TitleBarTime doesn't give you the possibility to display more information in the bar, such as disk space or CPU and RAM usage. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself.
