As the name suggests, DiscordChroma is a tool designed to help Razer Chroma users integrate their products with Discord. More precisely, the role of the tool is to enable discord events to trigger Razer Chroma lighting on supported devices. The application is still in development and hence, do not expect everything to go smooth or perfect.
In addition to having Discord installed, the app requires you to enter the client ID and secret. Even though it provides a quick link to help users get their user ID, the link is tricky and does not always work. Therefore, to avoid a lot of headache, access the Developer console, create a new app and copy the ID and secret token from there. At the same time, users need to redirect to http://localhost:1608/rzr-discord-chroma-callback for the app to work.

The reason behind all the trouble is that the app uses RPC api, which is currently whitelist only.
For the time being the app can trigger Chroma lighting for discord notifications, but the developer states that more animations will be added in the future. However, once it is running, users will barely notice it is there, as Chroma works according to how it is configured in the Profiles.
