The program doesn’t require installation, so just decompress and launch to get started. The app doesn’t include an interface per se, but rather you can access it from the System Tray by double-clicking on its icon. As you probably hinted, you will be able to view all connected audio systems and select one.
While you can do this with the mouse directly, the tool also includes shortcuts for the same action. Therefore, use Ctrl + Alt + V to bring forth the audio systems list and use tab to switch between them. Unfortunately, the hotkeys cannot be changed for now.
It is worth mentioning that the tool solely allows the selection of a single system, and it would be nice if you were able to pick two or more. At the same time, it would be nice to make the switch automatically by configuring some conditions, such as the main program being used, for instance.
In addition to home theater, the tool can also be employed for music production when you require a quick way to switch between the various outputs for playback, mixing or recording. Moreover, it would be enjoyable to have while gaming, as you can switch between headphones and speakers on games scenarios.
