All you have to do is select the individual Outlook data file you want to convert and choose the output destination directory. The application comes with support for both PST and OST files, allowing you to carry out batch conversions as well. In other words, not only that you can choose the input file to process, but you can select a whole folder containing Outlook data files and PST 2 MSG automatically selects all the compatible files that can be processed. Files in subfolders can be added to the conversion list on demand as well.
It is worth mentioning that PST 2 MSG Serial can preserve the initial folder structure and migrate the email files to corresponding folders. Moreover, it can be configured to create individual folders for each Outlook data file. Empty directories are skipped by default, but you can change this setting.
Situations when a file already exists are easily handled by PST 2 MSG, should you provide it with instructions to do so. By default, the application renames the new file if a file with the same name already exists.
