Bevel Download Manager is one of the latest, open-source, free download manager to see the light of day and, before anything, we have to point out that it's built using Electron.
The first impression is a good one. Bevel Download Manager looks modern, feels modern, and works as one might expect.
You are provided with a clear way of managing multiple downloads at once (meaning it has batch download support), and a quick way to access them once the process is completed.
In terms of features, though, the app is not a thing to write home about. It doesn't provide you with what might very well be considered standard on most download managers.
There's no way to prioritize downloads, filter them, or limit the download speeds. It doesn't have security features, nor does it have support for download scheduling.
Even though the app is supposed to have YouTube download options, we haven't been able to download any videos during our tests.
Therefore, there's no way around it, in its current state, this tool is a mediocre one. However, it's worth noting that more features might be added in future releases, as it's a very new product.
To conclude, if you're looking for a plain and simple download manager to go about your daily downloads Bevel Download Manager Serial is not necessarily a bad option. It's a modern and stylish tool that helps you download multiple files without effort. However, there's no getting away from the fact that there are far better options out there.
