In essence, Paint of Persia is a minimalist program, with an easy to understand interface. As its main purpose is to allow you to draw on top of other images, the menus and features are all located on the left side, with only the frames bar set above the Windows taskbar. This way, you have plenty of space to maneuver and be sure you don't need to reposition the pictures on top of which you are drawing.
Also, the main window, which is situated in the center of your screen, is the canvas where you can draw your animation. You can also have its transparency set to whichever values you prefer. Also, you can either make it transparent so you can see what's behind it, or you can set it to whatever color you like.
The canvas can be moved around your screen with the drag and drop feature, and you can also resize it, giving you freedom while drawing.
When you first open Paint of Persia Serial, and before you start a new project, all you will see is a little window in the top left corner of your screen. This menu is very important as from here you can set the width and the frame rate at which the animation will be running, as well as preview it.
