Though its name may remind you of a Japanese video game from the early 90s, Super Simple Auto Refresh has nothing to do with the likes of Super Mario or Super Street Fighter II, nor their fun, nor their difficulty. In fact, as the name promises, it’s a really simple tool that you can use as an extension for Google Chrome.
After you install it, you can immediately choose between one of many preset timers; after it’s activated, the extension will automatically refresh the page once the countdown is over. It will do this again and again until you stop it.
If you want a more precise refresh time, you can create any such interval. You can also set the extension to make a hard reload on a page (like the Ctrl+F5 command) so that it bypasses any local cache.
Remember that each timer you set works only for a specific page, and not for a whole site. Obviously, that’s a good thing.
