You first start out walking down a corridor that is bright and white-colored. On both sides of the corridor, you have green doors which can be seen as an infinity of possible choices that you have to make. All of a sudden, you randomly pick a door and go through it, and that is where you realize that you've made the wrong choice.
The entire screen shifts to matrix mode, where all the textures are replaced by the iconic green text code, creating a truly psychedelic feel, and you receive a prompt announcing you of system failure. That is where you realize you may have tampered with the code by choosing the wrong door.
While in normal mode, the corridor and doors don't present much of a challenge for your system's resources, since they are not rendered with any complex components such as complex textures, lighting or shadows. This allows the app to run without any problem on pretty much any system with smooth FPS values.
However, if the matrix is more than your PC can handle, you could always just look up the screensaver manager and adjust several audio and video features there, such as resolution, sound volumes etc.
3D Matrix Corridors Screensaver manages to fully recreate the feeling of being in the matrix, regardless of which way we look at the corridor, and which door we choose.
