Host Profiles 1.5.10 Crack With Serial Number 2024
After a short while from public release, the Internet quickly became the source of all inspiration, as well as the root of all evil, at least when it comes to computers. Windows wants to protect you from some of those dark corners of the web, with all noted websites stored in the Hosts file, and this is exactly where Host Profiles sticks its nose, letting you decide what stays and what goes.
One of the advantages noticeable even before the start, is that you don’t even have to go through a setup process for the application to work. However, you do need administrator privileges so that it can access the Windows Hosts file. Other than that, you can easily keep it stored on an USB flash drive and apply different profiles on other computers as well.

In terms of design, the application isn’t much to look at. The main window is all you get to work with, alongs with three tabs for profile views, current host, and current IP. An upper text field lets you create a new profile simply by writing down a custom name and pressing Add.
Make sure to create a backup of the Hosts file if you can, because as soon as you hit the Add button, the new profile is applied and DNS flushed. What’s more, there’s no built-in feature to create a backup or restore to default values, so it’s best not to manage anything unless you know what you’re doing.
Profiles you create are kept in a list, with the possibility to apply them at any given moment. Moreover, editing requires incredibly little effort on your behalf. You simply need to click on the right pane, and start adding, or removing addresses as you please.
The application also creates a system tray icon for quick use. With a simple right-click, you can switch between all created profiles, but not the system default, flush DNS, or show the main window for more configurations.
To sum it up, Host Profiles Serial comes with good intentions and provides quick access and edit possibilities to an area rather difficult to find, and probably inaccessible due to administrator rights. However, it can do with a little work, leaving you confused most of the times. There’s no built-in documentation, and it always feels like you’re about to do something wrong.
